Express oneself individually +find ones place in the service of a collective expression
Learn how to play traditional West African drums + percussion instruments
Seeking reciprocity of discovery + enrichment with traditional cultures
Artistic Objectives
- Transmit the knowledge of several polyrhythms (assimilation of the rhythms of base of the different instruments)
- Build bridges of knowledge to enrich traditional rhythms with African rhythms
- Mastering the collective play of different rhythms
- Addressing the basics of improvisation
- Learning the different signals and calls
